Hand Sculpted Polymer clay and Wood Wall decoration Inspired by the Brontë Sisters
This wall decoration has been hand sculpted by Leigh Jordan of Window of the Soul, inspired by the sign that hangs outside the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth, Yorkshire, UK.
This panel is a polymer clay/resin cast from an original sculpture and mounted on to a wooden backing that is aged to look like old antique weathered wood. The design intimates one of the Brontë Sisters sitting at her writing slope, perhaps creating Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights or The Tennent of Wildfell Hall, the whole composition capturing the allure and mystique of the Brontë Sisters, and aged to give an authentic Victorian patina.
The panel has an aged vintage feel, the perfect accessory for any Brontë lover. It is entirely made by hand, crafted with the highest quality materials in soothing tones, everything is completely hand made from the sculpting of the original detail and the lettering, to the ageing and weathering of the wooden base. There is a metal loop at the back to aid in hanging on the wall.
