This decoration has been hand sculpted by Leigh Jordan of Window of the Soul, inspired by the Brontë Sisters and their work.
This decoration is a polymer clay/resin cast from an original sculpture and mounted on to a wooden heart shaped backing that is aged to look like old antique weathered wood. The design intimates Charlotte Brontë sitting at her writing slope, perhaps creating Jane Eyre, with a raised copy of Charlottes signature to the left hand side, the whole composition capturing the allure and mystique of the Brontë Sisters, and aged to give an authentic Victorian Era patina.
The heart has an aged vintage feel, the perfect accessory for any Brontë lover. It is entirely made by hand, crafted with the highest quality materials in soothing tones, everything is completely hand made from the sculpting of the original detail and the lettering, to the ageing and weathering of the wooden base. There is a golden silk ribbon threaded on to the heart to aid in hanging on the wall.
