Charlotte Brontë Cameo Brooch

When you love someone, you want to let the world know! I wanted to let the world know I loved Charlotte Brontë, so l made a brooch!

This Cameo has been hand sculpted by Leigh Jordan of Window of the Soul as a possible side view of Charlotte Brontë as she is portrayed in the famous Richmond Portrait of 1850.
This brooch is a polymer clay/resin cast from the original sculpture and mounted on to a wooden backing that is aged to look like old antique wood. The Cameo has a sculpted copy of Charlottes signature at the bottom, and the whole brooch is painted to resemble the age and patina of an old marble cameo brooch.
 
The Brooch has a vintage feel, the perfect accessory for any Brontë lover. Hand crafted with the highest quality materials in soothing “old book” coloured tones, everything is completely hand made from the sculpting of the original image to the marbling and ageing of the wooden base, and is sealed to make the brooch water proof so you don’t have to worry about wearing it on a rainy day.

Colour variations appear due to some photographs being taken by candlelight, and others by full bright day light.
